The Sacral Chakre is the second Chakra and is located in the lower abdomen of the human body. This Chakra is associated with emotions, feelings, states of desire and imagination. It is represented by a circle with six petals. Our sense of taste is related to this chakra.

The Sanskrit name for the Sacral Chakra is "Sva'dhisthana" which translates to "sweetness".

Strengthening the ChakraEdit

Opening the Sacral ChakraEdit

Put your hands in your lap with your palms up on top of eachother. Your left hand should be underneath touching the back of the fingers on your right hand. The tips of the thumbs will touch gently.

Concentrate on the Sacral Chakra at the sacral bone, on the lower back whilst you chant the sound VAM.
